Dr Leon Levitt

Dr Leon Levitt MBBS (UWA), MRACOG (Dipl). Dr Levitt is a graduate of the University of Western Australia’s School of Medicine and he has a further training in Obstetrics. He has consulted in family medicine in Wembley for 30 years and over this time has delivered babies for thousands of mothers and cared for them through early childhood. He is passionate about supporting parents and healthy babies. He founded Baby Steps Health Centre to enhance the delivery of health services to the young mothers of Western Australia, and help them make the best start that they can to parenting.

Dr Levitt has over 25 years experience in neonatal circumcisions to Western Australian boys, having performed over 14000 such procedures in the out patient setting. 

Leon is married with three children and has been a long time local community leader involved in educational and refugee charities.

Dr Steven Resnick

Dr Steven Resnick MBBch, FRACP. Dr Resnick is a graduate of the University of Witwatersrand of Johannesburg, South Africa, and has been living in Perth for over 10 years. He obtained his specialist qualifications in neonatal paediatrics from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2007. He works as a full-time consultant Neonatal Paediatrician and was recently appointed Head of Neonatology at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

Dr Resnick joined the Perth Circumcision Clinic in 2011, bringing his exceptional skills and knowledge of young babies to the Perth Circumcision Clinic team.
